CPC EXAM PREP SELF-STUDY

CPC exam prep online self-study course is ideal for individual learners who are self-disciplined to complete online programs on their own at their own pace. This course can be completed in as little as four (4) months. However, learners will have up to 12 months to complete the course. The program must be completed within twelve (12) months. Extensions can be purchased on a month-to-month basis.

This course is designed for all levels of experience or no experience at all. There are no prerequisites for this course, however, medical terminology and/or anatomy training is recommended but not required.

Course Description:
The CPC online course is designed to give students the knowledge and skills necessary to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification national exam. Each student will learn principles of medical coding as it relates to the three main coding manuals: CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II. This course is recommended for anyone who is preparing for a career in medical coding and anyone preparing for the AAPC CPC national certification examination.
Course Objectives:
