CPC® - Certified Professional Coder

COC® - Certified Outpatient Coder

• Prerequiste: CPC® certification or AHIMA certification
• 10 intensive weeks of medical coding training that is outpatient hospital              facility focused
• Convenience of evening online classes that allows for flexibility
• Playback recording of each live online session
• Lectures, audio-lectures, hands-on exercises, abstracting from operative reports, test taking techniques, end of chapter reviews, and midterm & final exams.

•This course teaches the correct code assignment for ambulatory surgery, emergency department facility coding, outpatient therapeutic services, the correct application of hospital modifiers, and revenue codes. This course also provides teaching on ICD-10-CM Coding Guidelines (including AHA Coding Clinic), CMS-1450 claim form (UB-04), and Charge Description Master (CDM).

Course fee includes: PMCC student textbook and practical application workbook, AAPC student’s membership, AAPC certification examination (optional), and licensed AAPC instructor fees. *Bonus: CPC online practice exam with built-in timer is also included.



Online Medical Terminology

This course is designed for  all levels of experience and is recommended for anyone interested in pursuing a new career in medical coding. Our Online Medical Terminology course is a self-study course taught in modular format with positive reinforcement.  Students are assigned an instructor to assist throughout the course and answer questions. Instant chat sessions can also be arranged with the instructor. This makes for a unique blended learning experience.

The medical terminology course can be completed at your own pace.  Students are given up to three (3) months to complete the course in order to earn a certificate of completion.
